The Trans Ams featured outstanding performance and handling upgrades over lesser Firebirds, and, at least during the '70's, some genuinely wild graphics (remember the "Screaming Chicken"?). By the time this 2000 model appeared, however, the Trans Am had evolved into a world-class performance car with no excuses. This pristine 36,233 mile example is about as nice as they come and was ordered with options that most enthusiasts prefer. Lift the steeply raked hood and you'll find the stout, all-aluminum 5.7L LS1 V8 nestled in the spotless engine bay. Additional features include power rack and pinion steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, power seats, power door locks, power side mirrors, power antenna, air conditioning, 6-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter, 3.42 Posi rear end, traction control, T-tops, Ebony Prado leather interior, console, cruise control, tilt steering column, steering wheel radio controls, factory Monsoon AM/FM/CD stereo, and chromed aluminum 16" wheels wearing 245/50R16 tires.
